Session Info/Investment

I serve Monroe, LA and surrounding areas within 30 miles. If you're not in my area, contact me for rates. Outdoor sessions with natural light are greatly encouraged, although open shade is preferred over bright sun.

An online proof gallery will be made available 2-3 weeks after your photo session. This gallery will include 20-30 proofs from your photo session. The gallery will be available for 2 weeks. An email will be sent to you when your session is available for viewing. If you want your album viewing time to be extended by 2 weeks, there will be a $20 fee.

Includes CD with all images from session with printing rights.
No minimum order required for prints.

This includes 1-2 hours of time at your home or a location of your choice, multiple clothing changes, proofing & and retouching of photos.  Session fee is due at time of photo session and is non-refundable.  (Cash or Check only made payable to Kiesha Nowlin).

Photo Cd's include all images from your session in 5x7 format/ratio.  Print release will be provided on the cd. Custom storyboards and creations will not appear on your photo cd..these prints can be purchased a la carte. If purchasing a Cd, all images will also be uploaded to www.mpix.com to allow you to print and order images from a great consumer lab that doesn't apply a color correction process unlike chain labs such as Walmart, Walgreens, etc. I am not responsible for printing errors or for the quality of your prints or products not printed directly by me.

                 NEWBORN SESSIONS

When should I schedule my session?  To ensure the sleepy curly newborn poses, I recommend scheduling newborn session within 4-10 days after delivery. It's best to schedule a newborn session during your pregnancy so you can tentatively be put on the calendar. Once your baby is born, we will schedule an exact date.  If you call to schedule after your baby is born, we will work hard to accommodate newborns under 12 days old. Where do we do the session? All newborn sessions are done in the comfort of your home which makes it easier for you and your newborn to be more comfortable. If needed,  your session can also be done in my home. What should my newborn wear to the session?  Preferable nothing. We have plenty of newborn wraps, blankets, hats, and other props available for your session. You may want to have 1 special outfit available if needed.  What should I wear?  If parents want to be included in a few photos, simple black shirt or clothing is recommended. What else should I bring or have?  Plenty of wipes and extra blankets are recommended in case of accidents. Newborns typically have several accidents during the photo session. We try to take all precautions but if it happens, we just change out the blanket and continue on. Who should I bring?  For newborn sessions, mom or dad or both is essential to the session. Space is limited during setup of newborn sessions and noise needs to be kept to a minimum so try to refrain from having visitors, grandparents, cousins, etc during the time of the session.  How long will the session last?  Newborn sessions typically last 3-4 hours. This takes into account feeding times, diapering, changing props, etc. We recommend feeding baby right before session so baby has a full tummy and a dry diaper, but sometimes feeding during a session is required for soothing.

Custom card creations are available for baby announcements, birthday invitations, thank you cards, graduation announcements, holiday cards, etc.  Cards are available in 4x6 or 5x7 size, are sold in sets of 25, and come with envelopes.  These are one sided photo cards.  Pre-designed cards are available for viewing on my main site. Colors can be changed on most cards to match your photo session if desired.   Custom card templates can also be designed for a specific theme.  Card templates are not credited by Nowlin Photography, therefore, cannot be sold as blank templates, only completed cards with your photos inserted.  You can contact me at nowlinphotography@yahoo.com to schedule an appointment or with any questions.
